Itinerary from your airline or travel agency indicating the following - Applicants Name - Dates of travel(to and from country) It is recommended that you do not purchase or confirm any tickets until the visa has been issued. |
5. Government Authorization
Government authorization or approval document to enter Libya (usually supplied by a Libyan tour operator) **Official Arabic translation of your passport vital pages will be processed by SC through the Arab Chamber of Commerce |
6. Yellow Fever Vaccination

The Embassy of Libya will not issue a visa on a passport that contains a valid or expired visa to Israel. Visas or entry may be denied for travelers if a passport contains Israeli stamps.

Letter from US Company or Organization- the signature must be original and the letter must be on company letterhead. - Nature of Business to be performed -Name and Address of your reference that will be visited -Dates of intended visit -Guarantee of return transportation and financial guarantee for the visit - Signed by an officer or manager(not to be signed by visa applicant) Download Sample:

5. Government Authorization
Government authorization or approval to enter Libya (usually supplied by a Libyan corporate sponsor) >The approval will be issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Libya, it must be sent to the Washington DC Libyan Embassy. >Those traveling on an ordinary passport and visiting the US Embassy for business purposes must also submit a letter from the US Department of State. **Official Arabic translation of your passport vital pages will be processed by SC through the Arab Chamber of Commerce |

Important Note
In order to obtain an Official/Diplomatic Libyan visa, you will need a reference/approval number from the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). Your visa application cannot be submitted to the Libyan Embassy without this visa approval being in place. The US Embassy in Tripoli must obtain the approval on your behalf. |

Due to unexpected backlogs the Consulate may increase their processing time without notice. Certain nationalities or passport holders may result in additional processing time, this is determined by the Consulate. SC-Passport and Visa is not responsible for delays resulting in Consulate matters.
